Cheapest- 3000.00 all the way up to tens of thousands depending on the severity case. It’s really different for every mouth… You will receive a fairly accurate quote after your impressions and x-rays are evaluated if your case is that of just a couple semi-crooked teeth be sure to see about a retainer… These are a fraction of the cost (3-5 hundred)and just as effective to a few teeth as braces are to a mouth full of crooked teeth! The cheapest braces are the standard frontal steel brackets with interchangeable color bands(this is where you can pick your color..from one solid to every tooth a different color!) Any customizing or camouflage-type braces (like invisalign) are going to cost more.

You can choose whatever color you want like stated above you cannot get colored brackets. The cheapest option is to use your insurance and set up a payment plan. Most places will let you pay what you can a month even if it’s only 20 dollars. But just remember, the longer it takes the more interest you pay, and rates go up every year. My grandpa and uncle both own a dental office. Honestly, making a call to your ortho is the 1st step. Make sure you ask them if they offer free or discounted consultations. Some do. And express your financial situation to the orthodontist. Hope that helped.

People that have lingual braces- do they really hurt? My bottom teeth have shifted a little due to wisdom teeth and I do not want invisalgn (takes to long) or alternative braces (don’t want anyone seeing them)….your honest input is greatly appreciated!

I just got 6 lingual braces (top front) yesterday. OmG they hurt! I am 35. Never had braces before and had just one tooth that is slightly crooked. They cost 3500. If I could do it over I would have got the standard.
